Sausage Spinach Pie

Savor The Flavor Of This Amazing Sausage Spinach Pie

Ingredients:

1 lb Sweet Italian sausage links, chopped

6 eggs

2 10 oz packages frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained

1 16 oz package mozzarella cheese, shredded

2/3 c ricotta cheese

½ t salt

1/8 t pepper

1/8 t garlic powder (or a spoonful of minced garlic

Pie crust for 2 crust pie (we use whole foods GF pie crust)

1T water

 

Directions:

 Brown Sausage and drain off fat. 

Reserve 1 egg yolk – combine remaining eggs with sausage, mozzarella, ricotta, salt, pepper and garlic

Mix reserved egg yolk and water

Pour mixture into crust, put crust on top, brush with egg yolk and water mixture

Bake at 375 for 35 to 40 minutes
